Your first adventure

Less setup.
More surviving.

Choose a hero, choose a destination and learn by playing. Start with Normal, find a class that feels good, then build toward harder challenges.

What you need

Use a desktop browser with WebGPU and hardware acceleration. The first visit downloads the client and streams game assets as needed, so allow extra time for loading. Keep the page open while it prepares your character scene and world.

A Windows client is also available. Both hosted clients connect to the same game account. If the browser cannot create a WebGPU device, check its hardware-acceleration setting and graphics drivers, or try the Windows client. Adjust rendering and visual effects in Options if a busy run feels slow.

From hero to first boss

  1. Enter the game. Create an account to keep your characters and eligible progress. Guest and offline modes are practice.
  2. Create your hero. Choose a class, race and appearance. Each class has a different kit and three talent trees.
  3. Pick a run. The next-run card shows your destination and difficulty. Start solo, create a party, join an open party or add companions to spare seats.
  4. Move, collect and choose. Spells fire automatically. Collect experience and select upgrades; gather gold for temporary cache equipment.
  5. Challenge the ladder. Kills advance the boss ladder. Later encounters use boss altars. Complete the required final encounter to win a finite run.

Your action bar shows ability availability, potion charges and cooldowns. A Hunter’s F lays a Frost Trap; class abilities are not all movement skills. In manual mode, use the spell’s number key or click its action button.

Survive the decisions between attacks

Leave yourself room to move. Read boss windups and ground telegraphs, avoid getting surrounded and use potions before you lose your escape route. Focus a dangerous target when automatic targeting is not enough. Attacks still need their normal range.

Stand close to a fallen ally to revive them. In a solo human run, including one with companions, reward choices pause the action. With multiple human players, the fight continues while someone chooses.

Optional contracts can provide extra rewards. Follow their on-screen direction and objective text. They are optional for ordinary Survival victory; some special reward conditions ask for more.

What gets saved

Your account owns your saved heroes, permanent equipment and progression. The server records eligible awards and active-run checkpoints. Reconnect after an interruption to resume when the room is still recoverable. A checkpoint is the last saved state, so a reconnect is not a promise that every unsaved moment can be restored.

Review earlier runs through My Runs. Guest and offline practice do not add permanent rewards. See what carries forward and what resets.

Help us make the next build better

Warforge Veterans is in active development. We need players to generate real balance data across classes, talents and difficulties. Try unusual builds, invite friends and tell us when something feels overpowered, weak, confusing or unfair.

Select Send Feedback in the game menu or results screen. Describe what you expected and what actually happened. Relevant run details are attached so the report can be investigated in context. Wait for the saved confirmation before closing the report.

Built with the players
